Last Updated: Thursday, March 7th, 2013 | 11:51am PST Story by: Sandy Hall

Kamloops RCMP are on the hunt for a suspect after a Mesa Estates resident interrupted a break and enter in progress Wednesday night.   A resident of the subdivision off Springhill Drive heard his front doorbell ring around 8pm last night, then a loud bang at the side door.

When he went to investigate, he found a man had forced his way into his home's mud room.   The suspect fled and an RCMP tracking dog was brought in - but no one was found.   The suspect is described as being caucasian, 20 to 30 years old with a medium build,  6 foot to 6 foot 4.
