The only road linking Juniper Ridge to the rest of the city is scheduled for a major overhaul this year -- and residents are encouraged to attend a public meeting tonight to learn what's in store. 

     Streets and Capital Projects Manager -- Kristen Meersman -- says Highland Road will be widened to 3 lanes -- 2 up and 1 down.  Plus a multi-use pathway will be added on the eastside for pedestrians, and to handle bikes going to and from the bike ranch. Upgrades to storm drains and lighting at the intersections is also in the works -- along with some landscaping. 

    The Meeting goes from 7 - 9 tonight at the Valleyview Community Centre on Park Drive.
